Welland Chevrolet Buick GMC took my brand new 2026 GMC Sierra in. Prior to them taking the truck In it had 500kms on it and the hood was not aligned properly and I was told I needed to slam my brand new trucks hood for it to close. The day before bringing it to the Welland service department the truck went into Niagara Falls Chevrolet Buick GMC.( this is where I bought the truck) they replaced my hood latch and said sometimes with newer trucks you need to slam the hood. After getting home and inspecting the truck is when I noticed how the hood alignment was terrible, worse then before and still needing to slam my hood I decided to bring it to the Welland location. They took my truck in Wyatt was the service member that helped me out, he noticed how out of line the hood was just by eye and said it has to be fixed it’s a brand new truck and I told him to try and shut the hood and he couldn’t because how much force would be required to do so he said that’s definitely not right. I was so happy with the experience at the Welland location and appreciate Wyatt and all his help and for getting me my truck back in perfect condition and actually fixing the problem. I will be back for all my service!
